Steve Batkin - Saturday. 3.8.2019: Typical Fear Based Demonstration Against Environmental damage. British Public Have No Choice But To Overcome Their Own Fears. Above image is a demonstration in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England by members of the public along with some of their political representatives against massive house building projects in the area which they live in. While writing this article I'm going to try and not to be too savage while picking fault with these demonstrators, I actually know some of them and have spoken to them in the past about the greedy ruthless financial oligarchy which runs British politics. Second from viewers' left with spectacles, blue shirt and black tie is local Member of Parliament for Stoke South, Jack Edgar Brereton. Mr Brereton is a young careerist Conservative Party (Tory) MP who has recently been elected in a constituency which the Labour Party have held for many decades, specifically because of the Tory Party's stance in Europe (Brexit) and a claim to begin to get tough on immigration. Let me now highlight a perfect example of nonsense regarding the concept of 'democracy' in Britain: the British public very understandably were and still are fed up with the Labour Party ('official opposition') and decided to dump them and elect the Tory MP Jack Brereton and his team of councillors and paid assisstants; why then have the British voters and public got exactly the same thing which they thought they had got rid of? Some examples being mass immigration cheap labour; massive house building projects on green land all over Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Britain as a whole; Britain's financial hub based in London called the City which profits from the sale of bonds/shares connected to house building and the associated building of roads, railways, shops, schools etc. Until ordinary working class/middle class people stop hiding behind traffic congestion issues and cast aside their fears about being called Nazis/Fascists/criminals etc. by the utterly corrupt British media their demonstrating efforts against environmental destruction will remain futile. At best they may push the problem next door on their neighbours' piece of greenbelt, or at worst they will suffer the consequences of acquiescing with political representatives (Mr Brereton) who have sold them out for money and do not represent environmentalist demonstrators' true interests. I'm afraid in the coming years green healthy land is going to continue to disappear at an alarming rate!
